6.Access to data
6.1 Within EMX
Departments concerned: subscriptions, customer relations, administration, accounting, IT, marketing & sales. Access is individually restricted and staff are bound by a confidentiality obligation.
6.2 Data transmission
Subcontractors may be involved in: subscription management, payment security, publication delivery, order shipping, phone calls, mail delivery, content personalisation, technical maintenance, customer reviews, analytics solutions.
Our subcontractors access your data on the basis of signed contracts setting out their obligations regarding data security and confidentiality.
Using social network sharing buttons may result in data exchanges between EMX and those platforms. Data may also be transmitted to police, judicial or administrative authorities where legally required.
7.Transfers outside the European Union
Data is stored primarily within the European Union. Marginal transfers to subcontractors located outside the EU are possible; they are governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
